Janus International, a manufacturer of self-storage doors and hallway systems, and IOA Insurance Services have teamed up to offer an insurance-savings program with benefits for self-storage owners. Facility owners who replace their older unit doors with new Janus models can receive a reduction in their insurance rates of up to 20 percent.
Replacing older, worn self-storage doors enhances a facility aesthetically and often renders a facility safer, according to a Janus press release. It may also reduce insurance claims related to poorly operating doors.
Janus manufactures rolling steel doors and coiling sheet doors for the industrial, commercial and self-storage markets. Headquartered in Temple, Ga., the company has four U.S. locations as well as joint ventures in the United Kingdom and Mexico.
