Janus International and IOA Insurance Partner to Provide Self-Storage Discounts

Janus International, a manufacturer of self-storage doors and hallway systems, and IOA Insurance Services have teamed up to offer an insurance-savings program with benefits for self-storage owners. Facility owners who replace their older unit doors with new Janus models can receive a reduction in their insurance rates of up to 20 percent.

Replacing older, worn self-storage doors enhances a facility aesthetically and often renders a facility safer, according to a Janus press release. It may also reduce insurance claims related to poorly operating doors.

Janus manufactures rolling steel doors and coiling sheet doors for the industrial, commercial and self-storage markets. Headquartered in Temple, Ga., the company has four U.S. locations as well as joint ventures in the United Kingdom and Mexico.

Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Longwood, Fla., Insurance Office of America (IOA) is a privately held, full-service insurance agency with offices nationwide. The companys Self Storage Practice Group specializes in providing property, casualty and employee-benefit solutions for self-storage facilities.
