The U-Haul Co. of Mississippi is offering 30 days of free storage or U-Box Portable Storage to all residents who have been affected by the recent floods.

"These storms have caused a tremendous amount of damage to the many communities we serve," said Doug Weston, president, U-Haul Co. of Mississippi. "I hope this effort will help provide assistance to families that need support and be able to move their belongings out of harms way.  We will continue to help our friends and neighbors in this time of need."

In addition to offering 30 days of free self-storage, U-Haul encourages people who need boxes to take advantage of U-Haul's Take a Box, Leave a Box program. The program allows customers to return their reusable boxes or take them for free as needed.

The company is also providing assistance with U-Box Portable Storage. With U-Box Portable Storage, customers pick up or U-Haul delivers the U-Boxes, customers fill them and then U-Haul stores them in their secure warehouse or delivers them to a location of the customers choice.
