Lackland Self Storage Offering Free Space to Flood Victims in PA, NJ

Last week's flooding in the Philadelphia area inspired a self-storage facility in Nockamixon, Pa., to offer free self-storage and parking to local residents affected by the storms.

Lackland Self Storage, which has more than 25 locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, is giving local residents the rest of March and April for free at the Nockamixon site, as well as a site in New Jersey. Facility representatives expect to be storing furniture and other belongings that may have been damaged or were forced to be moved to avoid damage.

Lackland Self Storage has committed to other philanthropic efforts in the past. Late last year, they partnered with a New Jersey radio station to collect more than $50,000 worth of holiday gifts for needy families.
