Burglary Alarm Scares Off Intruder at Castle Self Storage

A burglary alarm may have scared away a man who broke into Castle Self-Storage in Boston.

A man smashed the front glass door of the self-storage facility on Aug. 17 and attempted to pry open two interior doors with a hammer, police said.

When the burglar alarm was activated the man fled without taking anything. Video surveillance shows the intruder is a white male in his 30s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing about 160 pounds. The man had brown hair and facial hair. Police said he was wearing black pants, a green zip-up sweatshirt and white T-shirt.
