By acquiring two self-storage sites, Budget Store & Lock has increased its market share in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania.

Metro Self-Storage Allentown and its 643 units, as well as Metro Self-Storage Bethlehem and its 693 units, were brokered for $2.8 million and $4 million respectively to the Whitehall Township, Pa.-based Budget Store & Lock, which now boasts having 4,072 units in all.

Veraxia Commercial Real Estate Solutions worked with two independently owned Sperry Van Ness franchise offices to broker the deals.

Budget Store & Lock Self Storage started as one 237-unit facility, purchased in 1997, and has grown to 13 locations.
