Fire at N.H. Self-Storage Destroys Eight Units, Injures Two Firefighters

A fire at Sensible Self Storage in Wakefield, N.H., Thursday left eight storage units damaged, and two firefighters suffered minor injuries. One was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Fire investigators believe the cause of the two-alarm fire was accidental. Route 16 was closed to one lane shortly after the fire as several fire crews from nearby towns responded.

The fire call came in around 10 a.m. Firefighters had the blaze under control in about an hour. The items in the storage units, including a car, were destroyed.
