On Oct. 28, the North Carolina Self Storage Association will host a meeting with North Carolina Representative William L. Wainwright (D) to discuss the harmful impact of a sales tax that will potentially be placed on self-storage. The meeting will take place at 9 a.m. at the McGuireWoods Consulting office in Raleigh.

Self-storage operators who would like to attend should contact Whitney Bertram, executive director, at [email protected]. To assist the NCSSA in its fight against the sales-tax legislation, self-storage supporters are asked to contribute a PAC check payable to Rep. Wainwright.
