Storage West Internet Marketers Make Finalist for SEW Awards

For the second year running, the father-and-son Internet-marketing team of Storage West Self Storage is a finalist in the annual Search Engine Watch Awards. Don Willis, director of marketing, and Adam Willis, webmaster, are being considered for “Best Use of Local Search.”

The SEW Awards recognize excellence in search-engine marketing. This year, they will honor 14 outstanding search marketers, search engines and technology providers, as judged by a panel of industry experts and the Search Engine Watch editorial staff. The winners will be announced at the Search Engine Strategies 2009 San Jose conference, Aug. 10-14.

Storage West Self Storage is a regional self-storage company with 44 facilities in Arizona, California and Nevada. Since 1999, the company’s search-engine optimization programs have been developed in-house by Willis and various part-time webmasters. After a heart attack and emergency by-pass surgery in November 2007, he brought his son on board to assist full time.
