More Affordable Energy for Texas Self Storage Association Members

Members of the Texas Self Storage Association (TSSA) can now receive energy-procurement services through an aggregation program provided by Tradition Energy, a full-service energy-management advisory and one of the nation’s largest energy firms. The program combines the energy loads of many similar users to secure the most competitive pricing for the entire group. By combining the energy use of TSSA members, Tradition Energy can negotiate with suppliers for better rates than any of the facilities might be able to obtain individually.

“Leveraging this program through their professional association will not only give self-storage businesses access to the most competitive rates available, it will also streamline the procurement process, saving valuable time,” says Ginny Sutton, TSSA Executive Director.

To participate in the aggregation, TSSA members need only complete an authorization form and supply copies of recent energy bills. Tradition Energy will compare rates among the largest energy suppliers in Texas to secure a new contract that meets the group’s needs.

TSSA was formed in 1986 and has more than 3,000 member facilities, making it the largest state self-storage association in the country. For more information, visit www.txssa.org.
