Simply Self Storage Hosts Bowl-A-Thon to Support Cancer Prevention

The Kurt O’Brien Foundation (KOBF), a charitable organization dedicated to educating children and young adults about cancer prevention and healthy living, will host a bowl-a-thon on March 29 to raise funds for its cause. The event will take place at Colonial Lanes on Primrose Drive in Orlando, Fla. Registration begins at noon with games starting at 1 p.m. A $15 minimum donation includes three games, bowling-shoe rental and food. Awards will be given for each category and to bowlers who raise the most money through pledges. For more information, call 407.248.7878.
 
The KOBF was founded by cancer survivor Kurt O’Brien, CEO of OB Cos./Simply Self Storage. The organization provides educational materials to help children understand the causes and treatments of the various forms of the disease and provide a positive influence for avoiding related risks.
