Posted in News, Archive

William Edward “Ed” Westover, 29, father of three and Western Region sales manager for U.S. Door & Building Components, was tragically murdered by a date’s disturbed ex-husband during the early morning hours of Feb. 16. Ed’s family, friends and co-workers are deeply saddened by their loss.

Ed, a resident of Mesa, Ariz., was fatally wounded during an incident of domestic violence between his date and her ex-husband, Chad Coker, 31. Coker was arrested for first-degree murder, aggravated assault and escape, and is being held at the Navajo County Jail.

Funeral services for Ed will be held on Feb. 22 in Woodruff, Ariz., a small farming community about 3.5 hours northeast of Phoenix. A viewing will take place from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., with services at 11 a.m. Arrangements are being handled by Owens Mortuary of Show Low, Ariz. To send flowers, mourners should contact Karla's Flower Girls at 928.536.4624.

U.S. Door has also arranged a memorial fund for donations to be collected on behalf of Ed’s three daughters: Brianna (8), Tatum (6) and Alyssa (3). All contributions will be carefully administered for their needs. Donations should be sent to:
