Janus Breaks Ground on Building Expansion

Temple, Ga.-based Janus International broke ground on its new facility expansion, which will increase working square footage from 82,250 to 117,250, or by 30 percent. Initially planned for 2008, the increase will allow Janus to serve clients more effectively and add jobs to the current staff of 210.

Business has grown quite rapidly, and we plan to expand further in the future, said David Curtis, company president. Construction is expected to progress quickly, with the new facility operational by late summer. In addition, Janus has plans to expand two other plants, one in Houston and another in Surprise, Ariz.
