MiniCo Solicits Submissions from Florida Insurance Agents

Phoenix-based MiniCo Inc. is actively soliciting submissions from insurance agents who represent self-storage properties in Florida. Although many Florida operations are presently insured through the company, new filings related to wind coverage have been approved with the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. This will allow MiniCos specialty insurance program to be offered to more businesses than before.

Based on the location of the risk, wind coverage may be excluded or a percent deductible on wind losses may be applied. Depending on other underwriting criteria, some risks may not be eligible to receive a quote/proposal.

MiniCo has provided specialty insurance programs, publications and related products and services for the self-storage industry since 1974. Visit www.minico.com for more information.

Agents interested in completing an application for a coverage proposal and premium quotation should visit www.minicoinsurance.com. For details, contact Merle Harris, market development manager, at [email protected].
