Australia Begins Swine Flu Trial Vaccinations

Human trials for the swine flu vaccination kicked off in Australia this week. The trials, conducted by two biotechnology companies, include more than 500 adult volunteers.

The swine flu virus has killed more than 700 worldwide, according to the World Health Organization, which recently stopped counting the number of cases worldwide.

Health officials are worried there will be an increase in swine flu cases this fall and are taking precautions to stem the spread of the virus.
