Stor-Age Dominates South Africa Market
The largest facility operator in South Africa is Stor-Age Self Storage. Headquartered in Cape Town, the company operates more than 20 facilities, with properties in all six of the country's major cities. Most recently, Stor-Age acquired a facility in Port Elizabeth from Rent-A-Storage, another large operator and private company created by the Toich Property Development Group. Rent-A-Store gave up its Eastern Cape investments to focus on the Gauteng market, according to company CEO Andre Toich.
