To use the site efficiently, the builder of New Braunfels Storage covered the single-story building with cross breezeways for unit access. The breezeways become a benefit during sunny, hot days as well as rainy ones.

The building is banded with a combination of horizontal and vertical metal and stucco in eye-catching colors to give it a vivid, but still polished design.
