The office at New Braunfels Storage is open, visible from the outside and well-lit. The arch elements blend in with the exterior and carry the architect’s design inside the building. The floors are stained concrete, so they’re easily maintained. The office also includes file cabinets, displays for boxes and other ancillary items, a restroom and, a break room.
The builder, SBS Construction, views self-storage as a retail business, with the philosophy that "new and nice sells." The company realizes that every person who enters the office is a rental opportunity. The majority of customers for the New Braunfels facility are predicted to be women. With all that in mind, the builder created a design that was open, well-lit and comfortable, one conducive for business. There are lots of windows so everyone can see what's going on inside and out. Monitors are visible behind the desk so the manager can see what’s happening at the facility, and each potential customer sees proof of security.
