Chateau Products Inc., a provider of disc locks and padlocks for resale, cylinder BEZEL latching systems, manager overlocks and maintenance items, retail store fixtures, and packing supplies, ran a creative promotion as part of its exhibit at the ISS Expo in Tacoma. All attendees were given a key at registration that they were to bring to the Chateau booth and try in a sample lock display. The person who's key opened the lock was the winner of a special prize. Chateau is a family-owned business dedicated exclusively to the self-storage industry. Its president of marketing, Nancy Wagner, is an expert in the area of self-storage retail sales. "When it comes to displaying your retail store, there are several important factors to consider including layout, quantities, signage and specials," she says.
