SurePoint Self Storage Facility Being Developed in Cypress, TX

A group of San Antonio-based self-storage owners are entering the Houston-area market with the purchase of 3.29 acres of vacant land in Cypress, Texas. Jeff Bailey, Brian Cisarik and Robert Loeb plan to build a SurePoint Self Storage facility on Spring Cypress Road just east of Grant Road. Construction will begin late this year.

The three-story property will encompass 110,000 square feet of storage space and be constructed of masonry and metal, according to Cisarik. Property amenities will include wireless door alarms, video cameras, and moving and packing supplies.

The partnership has several self-storage projects under development in Texas, including one on Interstate Highway 35 in San Antonio. The facility will include 113,000 square feet of storage space and is expected to open in January 2015. Houston-based developer Bobby Grover is partnering with the trio on the Houston-area developments.

Cisarik and Loeb built their first storage facility, Castle Hills Self Storage, in 2001. That property, along with the partnership’s two others—3009 Self Storage and Austin Highway Self Storage—are being rebranded under the SurePoint name, according to an article in the “San Antonio Business Journal.”
