8/13/2015 – Keylock Storage, a self-storage operator with eight facilities in the Pacific Northwest, recently broke ground on its newest property in Meridian, Idaho, a growing suburb of Boise. The facility will include approximately 500 climate-controlled units and offer 24-hour access, a conference room, a large retail office and video surveillance. It’ll also provide enclosed RV parking as well as a number of RV-specific amenities such as a dump station, built-in power-washers, remote-controlled gate and RV doors, and electric plug-ins. Tenant-payment capabilities will include autopay, online billpay and a smartphone app.
"I am confident our new Keylock Storage location will be the finest, most modern, highest-quality facility in the region. We will offer a wide range of sizes and accommodations, excellent amenities, and superior customer service,” said Ron Osborne, owner of Keylock Storage.
Keylock plans to double the number of its storage facilities in the next 18 to 24 months, according to a company press release. It’s actively expanding its current properties, building new and acquiring existing ones across the Northwest.
The company is owned by Keylock Storage Holdings, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bitterroot Holdings, a privately held company that owns and operates self-storage facilities and fitness centers. Keylock opened its first facility in 2003 and now has properties in Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
