Self-Storage Companies Participate in Halloween Events

Update 10/28/13 All proceeds from All Canadian Self-Storages Halloween festivities will benefit Frontlines Community Centre, a charitable organization that offers programs for children ages 8 to 13 and youths ages 14 to 21 in Weston, Toronto, Canada. Frontlines programs focus on fitness, nutrition and cooking, and the performing arts.

All Canadian Self-Storages festivities will include a silent auction, 50/50 drawing, and prizes for a kids coloring and original art contest. Hamburgers, soft drinks and candy will served.

10/21/13 Several self-storage companies are getting in the spirit of Halloween. In Sterling, Colo., four self-storage operators are among the 80 businesses that contributed candy for this years "Trick or Treat Street on Oct. 31, sponsored by the Sterling Recreation Center. Appelhans Self Storage, E B Maxi Storage, Master Storage and Mike's Storage LLC donated treats for the annual event, which takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the recreation center, 808 Elm St. The Freaky Farms themed event is intended to be a safe alternative to door-to-door trick or treating. The recreation centers lifeguards will pass out free candy to costumed children ages 12 and under.

US1 A/C Self Storage in Boynton Beach, Fla., is sponsoring it own holiday festival from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31, with a family barbecue including hot dogs, hamburgers, sodas and sweets. The self-storage operator regularly holds community events.

All Canadian Self-Storage at 207 Weston Road in York, Ontario, Canada, is also hosting a Halloween night party from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A video promotion for the event can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpQyo7jvckc. The company has five Canadian locations.
