It's a popular time for tenants to want access to their boats and RVs and recreational vehicles. Likewise, with all of the new marriages and recent college graduates, people are invariably on the move this time of year, not to mention the fact that in most parts of the United States, the weather is actually conducive to moving. |

The Canada Conversation: Discussing North-of-the-Border Issues on Self-Storage TalkAdmittedly, when posting on Self-Storage Talk, I have a yankee's perspective, as do all of the U.S.-native members of the community. But self-storage is a global business with new developments and opportunities springing up all over the world. In fact, some developers will tell you the hotbed for self-storage development is not, in fact, in the United States but in other locales, one of which is our neighbor to the north: Canada. |

Inside Self-Storage Best of Business Poll: Renewed and RelaunchedLast month Inside Self-Storage launched the industry’s first-ever “Best of Business” choice-opinion poll; but like many new initiatives, it required time and customer feedback to fully meet audience demand. The original campaign was halted last week, and today we are pleased to open a new Best of Business poll with a more secure, accurate voting process. |
