Storage Post Self Storage announced the winner of its iPad 2 giveaway contest. The winning participant is Greg Voyzey from Bellefonte, Pa., who will receive his iPad 2 this week.

The iPad 2 has a battery life of up to 10 hours and a dual-core A5 chip processor, allowing for multi-tasking and downloading. Courtesy of the company's Facebook giveaway, Voyzey will have unlimited access to self-storage options online, including access to Storage Post on Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and its website.

"We were pleased with the response to our first Facebook promotion, reaching 500 contest entries much quicker than we anticipated," said David Vining, chief marketing officer of Storage Post. "We now have more than 4,000 Facebook fans, and we will continue to grow that number as we build an online community of current and potential customers."

Storage Post began the contest in mid-summer as part of its customer appreciation strategy and to promote its Facebook page. The contest asked Facebook users to "LIKE" the Storage Post Facebook page to be eligible to win. At the end of the contest, Storage Post organized a drawing from among the participating entrants.

Headquartered in Atlanta, Storage Post has facilities along the East Coast. The company is also pursuing self-storage acquisitions.
