Seven Springs Self Storage of New Port Richey, Fla., recently won out over 64 other businesses in a community news outlet's first customer-service competition. The New Port Richey Patch asked readers who provides the best local customer service during its 2012 Readers Choice poll. The final tally in the championship round was 1,040 points for Seven Springs compared to 140 points for Elite Corals & Aquaculture, a pet and fish shop.
Seven Springs has been around for 14 years, but has been managed by Diane Scura and Bill Ferraro for nine months. We really do try to help our customers the best we can, Scura said.
Most of the customers who rent from Seven Springs Self Storage are in some state of emergency, Scura told the source. Some can no longer stay in their homes or apartments. The business often opens its doors after hours to assist customers. "I try to comfort them without edging into their business," Scura said.
Seven Springs is also very involved in the community, donating space to causes such as Pack-A-Sack, which collects food donations for school children. The company also donates space for a cat tag, spay and neutering drive.
