Fort Knox Self Storage Builds Facility in Keysborough, Australia

Fort Knox Self Storage has completed construction on a new purpose-built facility in Keysborough, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. The site was chosen due to the growing population and high number of new houses near the property at 1 Southpark Close, according to a company press release. Construction was finished in nine months.

The three-story facility comprises a 4,500 square meters of storage space in 1,200 units. More than 20 unit sizes were built to meet the diverse storage needs of the area, the release stated. Additional offerings include a boardroom for customer use, a customer-waiting area complete with beverages, vehicle storage and wine storage.

The facility was also designed to be easily accessible, the release stated. “We’ve invested in large goods and passenger lifts as well as undercover loading areas to make the move-in/out process as stress-free as possible for our customers,” said Guy Wilson, general manager.

Fort Knox now operates nine facilities in Melbourne. Amenities include a range of unit sizes, a truck and driver service, and moving and packing supplies.
