Self Storage Promotions Enters Market

Revelation Media Networks Inc., an integrated marketing and communications firm, launched a new division, Self Storage Promotions, to serve the needs of industry developers and investors. The company provides services such as strategic counseling; public, media and community relations; corporate and crisis communications; marketing and advertising campaigns; web services; event management; branding; and video production.

The divisions president and creative director is Jennifer LeClaire, a contributor to industry publications for five years. U.S. Buildings Donates Computers

Steel Buildings leader U.S. Buildings, provider of steel buildings to businesses and individuals, donated computers to the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County, Florida. U.S. Buildings has donated to several charities including donations to help Hurricane Katrina victims.

Wine Storage Demand Booms in Fairfield, N.J.

As wine collecting increases across the United States, so does the demand for specialized storage. The wine-storage business is so good at LLK Enterprises in Fairfield, N.J., that, even after it doubled its 10,000-square-foot wine storage, the facility is full again. LLK, an affiliate of the New York wine shop Acker Merrall & Condit, hopes to triple its space in 2007.

Storage Units Become Santas Closets

Around the holidays, Abbott Self-Storage of Nashville, Tenn., bills its smaller storage units as Santa Closets, reported MSNBC.com. The manager said several women have rented units this year to house large presents like big-screen TVs and recliners for their husbands or to hide and wrap gifts for kids. Absolute Storage Management of Memphis, which operates Abbott and other storage facilities in the Southeast, offers 4-by-4 units from early November through Christmas for $1 a day.
