Roll-Up Door Improvement

Trac-Rite Door acquired a new roll-forming machine dedicated to production of its roll-up door bottom-bar assembly. The new assembly is fitted with the Seal-Rite pliable PVC seal. The futuristic design has moved beyond a simple sealing flap and incorporates a tube to help lessen impact as the door is closed. Seal-Rite collapses cleanly on itself within the guides without crumpling to improve the weather seal at the bottom edges of the door, protecting storage items from the elements. The extra-long astragal compensates for uneven or irregular thresholds. The bottom bar itself consists of a sturdy Galvalume finish that maximizes wind ratings and is corrosion-resistant. End caps protect the guide runners for long life and smooth, quiet door operation. The new bottom bar package is standard on Model 944 and the windlock Model 944WL door series.
