Trac-Rite Door acquired a new roll-forming machine dedicated to production of its roll-up door bottom-bar assembly. The new assembly is fitted with the Seal-Rite pliable PVC seal. The futuristic design has moved beyond a simple sealing flap and incorporates a tube to help lessen impact as the door is closed. Seal-Rite collapses cleanly on itself within the guides without crumpling to improve the weather seal at the bottom edges of the door, protecting storage items from the elements. The extra-long astragal compensates for uneven or irregular thresholds. The bottom bar itself consists of a sturdy Galvalume finish that maximizes wind ratings and is corrosion-resistant.
