Not Too Late for Flu Shots

The flu season is right on time, according to health officials. But it's not too late to get a flu vaccination because flu season runs until the spring. 'The flu shot is the best way to not get the flu," says Jennifer Paulson of the Mankato Clinic. "Good hand hygiene will help, but the flu shot is still the best way to keep you from getting the flu every year."

This year's strains are two different "Brisbane A" strains, and one "Florida B" strain. You can get a vaccine from your local health care provider.
