Fort Box Self Storage, an operator with facilities in London and Oxford, England, will be co-sponsoring the Major League Baseball Players Skills Camp on March 18 at the Canary Wharf in London. The event will be held indoors from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time. Registered attendees will meet and learn baseball fundamentals from former professional players.

"Being an active member of our community is one of the core values of the company," said Hugh Knowles, co-owner. Fort Box is partnering with Merrill Corp., a commercial technology and legal-services provider also based in the United Kingdom, on the sponsorship.

Fort Box was founded in 2007 and opened its first self-storage facility in Oxford in 2008 before adding a Central London facility in 2010. Fort Box is the trading name of USIFB LP and is owned by Knowles, Ian Connolly and CubeSmart, a U.S.-based self-storage operator formerly known as U-Store-It Trust Inc.
