O’Neil Software, a provider of software solutions for records centers worldwide, celebrated its 30th year in business and raised $26,000 for the Make-a-Wish Foundation at its recent Strategic Partner Conference in Huntington Beach, Calif.

“Every 18 months, we make it a point to host this event that not only helps our customers succeed in records management, but demonstrates a strong commitment to both national and international children’s charities,” said Ian Thomas, O'Neil's vice president of business development. “Despite tough economic times, our conference attendees have, once again, displayed true generosity—which goes to show you that it’s not that successful people are givers; it’s that givers are successful people.”

The Strategic Partner Conference, attended by O'Neil customers, provides education, training and one-on-one time with the O'Neil team.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Founded in 1980, it is one of the world’s leading children’s charities, serving children in the United States and 47 other countries. With the support of donors and more than 30,000 volunteers, the foundation has granted the wishes of more than 280,000 children.

O’Neil serves more than 1,000 records centers in more than 80 countries, ranging from start-ups to multi-national companies. In addition to software, the company specializes in barcode tracking, portable printers, wireless handhelds and Web technology.
