Storsmart Insurance Co., a provider of tenant insurance for the self-storage industry, hired Ben Riehm as western region sales director. Riehm will focus his efforts on helping self-storage operators improve the tenant-insurance component of their business.

He was previously the award-winning northwest sales manager for Janus International, a provider of self-storage doors and other building components. There he assisted industry developers throughout the United States and Canada.

Riehm currently serves on the board of directors for the Washington Self Storage Association.
