The Storage Neighbor, a network of self-storage facilities in Alabama and Georgia, is expanding three of its Alabama properties to keep up with consumer demand, company officials said. Expansion for each of the locations, identified as County Line Road, Nance Road and Research Park, is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

The project at the Nance Road facility includes adding 7,500 square feet of dry storage to the propertys existing self-storage and parking. The County Line Road and Research Park expansions include additional climate-controlled units at both locations.

The Storage Neighbor is the self-storage brand of NitNeil Partners, a regional investment firm that specializes in the acquisition, development and management of commercial real estate, including self-storage. The company has more than 600,000 square feet of self-storage space currently under management. The Storage Neighbor has several self-storage facilities in the Atlanta metro area, as well as in the Alabama communities of Huntsville and Madison.
