StorageMart Self-Storage Renews Scholarship Program for Fall Semester 2012

StorageMart, a self-storage company with more than 130 locations across the United States and Canada, will again be giving $1,000 scholarships to five students pursuing degrees at any level of higher education through the StorageMart ScholarSmarts program. The company will select the recipients through an essay application process. Applicants must answer one of the following questions in writing: What link is there between a clutter-free workspace and increased productivity? How has self-storage improved your lifestyle?
Winning submissions will be chosen based on originality and creativity but must meet the following three standards: All submissions must have a title. Essays must be fewer than 500 words in length. Essays must be predominantly comprised of unique content, with proper citation of any research material used.

Entrants may submit no more than one essay. Submissions should be sent via e-mail to [email protected] along with legal name, mailing address, telephone number and the name of the school the applicant who will be enrolled in for the fall 2012 semester.

The deadline for submissions is midnight on June 30. Winners will be announced July 21 through the StorageMart Facebook page and YouTube channel.

ScholarSmarts scholarships are $1,000 gifts given directly to the recipients, allowing for use toward any costs involved with the pursuit of higher education, such as tuition, books, rent, mortgage, child care or other living expenses.
