Second Season of Web Series Self Storage Begins

The second season of the Web series "Self Storage" launched Aug. 17. The scripted Web show follows two women living in a self-storage unit after being evicted from their apartment. The series premier showed Dana and Shoshanna being evicted from their current unit and forced to find a new self-storage facility.

Written by Julie Mann and Kimberly Trew, and produced by Scott Keiner and StorageOutlet.net, the first season of "Self Storage" aired in 2010. Season one was voted Best Comedic Webseries by Stay Tuned TV. The show was also voted 2010 Comedic Webseries Finalist by Clickers Best and was featured at the 2010 LA Femme Festival.

Trew, who plays Shoshanna in the series, is a New Jersey native who started out in musicals and eventually made her way to Los Angeles. Shes appeared in several films and has performed with theatre companies in the Los Angeles area, including Native Voices at the Autry and Towne Street Theatre.

Dana is played by Mann, a transplant from Chicago where she's worked at the Goodman Theatre and at the Steppenwolf Theatre Garage. Shes also worked at the NYC Fringe and Williamstown Theatre Festivals. Mann is also involved in the Los Angeles improv comedy scene and has acted in a number of films and media projects.
