Storage Property Protection, a Phoenix-based provider of tenant-insurance solutions, has added a new benefit to its product for self-storage tenants. Effective May 17, all SPP tenant-insurance policies will have a $0 deductible.

We already waive the deductible in certain situations, and we feel that eliminating our deductible altogether simplifies our program even further, enabling our operators site managers to easily communicate and bring enhanced value to their storage customers, said Matt Schaller, vice president of sales and client services.

SPP, which provides tenant-protection programs to self-storage operators in 50 states, was launched in 2009 by Harry Sleighel. Sleighel formerly played pivotal roles in an ad agency as well as MiniCo Inc.
