Access Self Storage Donates Books, Décor to Dallas Library

Access Self Storage in Dallas donated new décor and more than 100 books to Kiest Elmentary Schools library in April.

To aid the library, which has been undergoing renovations, student council members sent out hundreds of letters to community businesses and organizations asking for donations of books, supplies and decorative materials.

We were fortunate to be housing the worlds largest garage sale at the same time the [schools] letter came in, said facility owner Doug Hunt. We bought up every suitable book we could find and sent them over.

Hunt invited Kiest Elementary librarian Adrianna Marroquin to his east Dallas facility to help him choose appropriate books for the schools library. Hunt then purchased decorative items for the library.

Access Self Storage has six locations in the Dallas area. The operation's website features a "community" tab, which highlights contests, events and outreach.
