Uncle Bobs Self Storage, the chain of facilities operated by Sovran Self Storage Inc., will host a barbecue at its three Charlotte, N.C., area sites on Nov. 20 to benefit the local chapter of Toys for Tots. Anyone who donates a toy valued at $5 or more will receive a voucher for a free food plate. Vouchers are redeemable from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the following locations:

"Our goal is to make sure every child has at least one toy to open during the holidays," said Susan Strange, store manager.

The Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation, started in 1947, has been successful in bringing thousands of smiles to needy children each year. Its mission is to ensure less fortunate children experience the joys of the holiday season.
