Guardian Self Storage of Newburgh, N.Y., Supports 'School Is Cool' Program

Guardian Self Storage of Newburgh, N.Y., partnered with the Newburgh Enlarged City School District in August, helping to distribute more than 1,200 backpacks and school-supply kits to local children as part of the School Is Cool program.

The school district implemented the annual program through the office of the Parent Involvement Coordinator. The community-wide partnership provides district students with the supplies and materials they need to complete schoolwork and homework.

Guardian Self Storage opened the doors to its first location, in Fishkill, N.Y., 25 years ago. The business has grown to 12 facilities throughout Dutchess, Orange and Ulster, N.Y., counties.
