U-Store-It is offering a military discount to new self-storage customers who've been deployed.

Military soldiers can receive a 50 percent discount off their rental rate at any U-Store-It facility nationwide for the duration of their deployment. Other active military members can receive a 20 percent discount.

Military personnel must present a copy of deployment orders and military ID when renting a unit. Other active military personnel need only show a current military ID for the 20 percent discount.

U-Store-It has more than 350 locations nationwide, many located near U.S. military bases. Military personnel can use U-Store-It's online storage facility locator to find a location, search rates and reserve a storage unit.

"We want to support our military and offer a solution to help reduce their stress," says Dean Jernigan, CEO.
