AuctionSound Signs with Add It to Create Network of Self-Storage eBay Drop-Off Stores

Online Sales Strategies Inc. and AuctionSound LLC, its wholly owned subsidiary, has signed an agreement with Add It LLC to create a network of independently owned eBay drop-off stores inside self-storage facilities nationwide. By adding eBay services to their existing business, storage owners can capitalize on existing customers, drive walk-in traffic, and offer an alternative way for tenants to pay rent. The service may also increase revenue from delinquent unit auctions while taking advantage of existing real estate and labor.

"I think this is a product that can make three or four times the money that self-storage operators are seeing now through any other ancillary product or service, and that is without any increase in human time or effort, said Phil French, CEO of Add it. Onsite eBay sales could exceed all ancillary revenue combined."

Add it, which provides a turnkey solution for storage facilities to add eBay drop-off as an ancillary service, has already signed up more than 30 facilities and looks to exceed 75 by the end of 2007. Storage operators interested in learning how to become an agent can visit www.additonline.com.
