SMARTBOX Sponsors NASCAR's Hanniford in Richmond

SMARTBOX, a provider of portable storage for commercial and residential use, will sponsor Dange Hannifords No. 56 car in Friday's NASCAR Busch Series Circuit City 250 at Richmond International Raceway (RIR).

Hanniford raced in the Hooters Pro Cup Championship in 2006 (finishing two points short of Rookie of the Year) and is making his Busch Series debut in Richmond for the Mac Hill Motorsports team. He grew up in Darlington, S.C., minutes from the track "too tough to tame."

"We're excited about the opportunity to sponsor an up-and-coming driver and, at the same time, introduce SMARTBOX to NASCAR fans across the country and an ESPN2 national audience," said Michael Lowe, president and CEO of SMARTBOX.

Based in Richmond, Va., SMARTBOX was founded in 2003. The company was recently named part of the Franchise 50 by the Franchise Business Review. It has franchises in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, Texas and Virginia. In addition, it recently announced its entry into the Chicago market, with its ninth new franchise opening in the past year. For more information, visit www.smartboxusa.com.
