Arizona Storage Association Changes Name

The Arizona Mini Storage Association has officially changed its name to the Arizona Self-Storage Association. "After 10 years, our board of directors feels the new name better identifies our association with the more accurate term 'self-storage,' rather than the outdated term 'mini storage,'" said Robert Schoff, president of ASSA.

"We are maintaining our vast array of member benefits. We look forward to continue serving Arizona self-storage owners, operators, and managers with quality educational programming, networking opportunities, operational aids and forms, legal counsel, market data, timely communications, and advocacy."

ASSA is a nonprofit trade group dedicated to strengthening the self-storage industry in Arizona, promoting professional standards and quality, and presenting a unified voice on issues affecting the industry. Founded in 1996, it represents almost 500 facilities throughout the state. For more information, visit www.azselfstorage.com.
