LeClaire Pronounced Top Investment Specialist by Marcus & Millichap

Marcus & Millichap, one of the nations largest real estate investment brokerage firms, pronounced Charles Chico LeClaire as its top self-storage investment professional for 2006. A senior investment associate based in Denver, he facilitated transactions valued at $134 million.

LeClaire joined the company in 1990 and was promoted to senior investment associate in 1996. His transactions last year included a $36 million self-storage facility in Boulder, Colo., and a $16.5 million self-storage facility in Scottsdale, Ariz.

ISS to Offer Legal Learning Seminar at Reno-Tahoe Expo

Inside Self-Storage (ISS) and industry legal expert Jeffrey Greenberger will offer a three-hour Legal Learning seminar at the ISS Summer Expo, July 24-27, 2007, in Reno-Tahoe, Nev. An extension of the popular webinar series hosted monthly by ISS and Greenberger, the new in-person offering will cover important legal issues every owner/operator should know:

Austin and Des Moines Ranked Top Growth Cities

U-Haul Internationals National Migration Trend Report indicates that for cities with more than 10,000 families moving, Austin, Texas, has the highest percentage of growth for the second year in a row, with 8.15 percent more families moving into the area than out. For cities with 5,000 to 10,000 families moving, Des Moines, Iowa, had the highest percentage of growth at 14.17 percent.
